Abdelrahman is a programmer and Android developer. He picked up coding as a teenager, as a hobby, and over time it became his work.
He started with the web, moved on to Android apps, and along the way his apps have reached tens of millions of users. He also enjoys electronics and embedded systems, is an active investor, and in 2020 he founded Mahitab.com.
عبدالرحمن مبرمج ومطور أندرويد. بدأ البرمجة في سن المراهقة كهواية، ثم أصبحت عمله مع الوقت.
بدأ بالويب، ثم اتجه إلى تطبيقات أندرويد، ووصلت تطبيقاته على مدى السنوات إلى عشرات الملايين من المستخدمين. يحب أيضًا الإلكترونيات والأنظمة المدمجة، وهو مستثمر نشط، وفي عام ٢٠٢٠ أسّس منصة ماهيتاب Mahitab.com.
Abdelrahman started programming as a teenager, around 15, out of curiosity and as a hobby. Little by little, he began taking it seriously.
بدأ عبدالرحمن البرمجة في سن المراهقة، نحو الخامسة عشرة، بدافع الفضول وكهواية، ثم أخذها على محمل الجد شيئًا فشيئًا.
He began with the web — building websites and blogs and teaching himself as he went.

Around late 2013, as Android was taking off, he started making Android apps.
أواخر ٢٠١٣، ومع انتشار أندرويد، بدأ في تطوير تطبيقات أندرويد.
His first apps were small games — Hangman (حبل المشنقة) and a Find-the-Difference game. Each passed a million downloads and became popular across the MENA region, and a Lebanese media agency reached out to work with him.
كانت أولى تطبيقاته ألعابًا بسيطة — حبل المشنقة ولعبة اكتشف الفرق. تجاوز كلٌّ منهما المليون تحميل وانتشرا في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، حتى تواصلت معه وكالة إعلامية لبنانية للعمل سويًا.
In 2017 he released WiFi Analyzer, a tool that shows the WiFi networks around you so you can pick a clearer channel. It became his most popular app and has passed 10 million downloads.
سنة ٢٠١٧ أطلق WiFi Analyzer، أداة تعرض شبكات الواي فاي القريبة منك لتختار قناة أوضح. أصبح أشهر تطبيقاته وتجاوز ١٠ مليون تحميل.
For his computer-science graduation project he built an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) that could aim and fire on its own. It was supervised by the head of the CS department, who later became the college dean, and presented at the Military Technical College.
لمشروع تخرجه في علوم الحاسب صنع مركبة أرضية غير مأهولة (UGV) قادرة على التصويب وإطلاق النار ذاتيًا. كان المشروع تحت إشراف رئيس قسم علوم الحاسب — الذي أصبح عميدًا للكلية لاحقًا — وعُرض في الكلية الفنية العسكرية.
In 2020 he founded Mahitab.com — the leading #1 online fabric store for retail in Egypt and the MENA region, with its own mobile app.
في عام ٢٠٢٠ أسّس Mahitab.com — المتجر الإلكتروني الأول لبيع الأقمشة بالتجزئة في مصر ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، وله تطبيق خاص على الهاتف.
These days he keeps writing and shipping software, invests in new ventures, and continues to grow Mahitab.com.

Alongside software, Abdelrahman has always liked embedded systems and electronics — and small IoT projects.
For his computer-science graduation project he built an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV): a small robot that could aim and fire on its own. The project brought together motion, sensing and control.
It was supervised by the head of the computer-science department, who later became the college dean, and was presented at the Military Technical College.
